You have asked and here it is. Another spring retreat in our Hildegard series which has already become a tradition.
This time, a week after Mother’s Day, we will focus on the idea of motherhood, in the physical as well as spiritual sense, and explore how Hildegard can help us reflect on both the bliss and pain which comes with giving birth to a child, a vocation, or a new stage in life.
On this one day retreat we will listen, read, explore, learn, reflect, share, walk and eat together pondering the sacredness of motherhood and our own journey with it. Many of us are mothers, and all have had mothers and needed to find our own journey of dependence and independence in that relation. Hildegard sees mothering as a central aspect of how God relates to us, and of our recognition of our dependence on Divine motherhood.
This retreat is for both women and men who are new to Hildegard’s voice and for those familiar with her.
If you are looking for a time out, a day away and some time to replenish your soul, I am looking forward welcoming you on this retreat!
